Poole Harbour has "double" tidal system giving water in harbour approx. 16 hours per day. Mean range = 2.1m.

The Port’s security operates 24 hours a day 7 days a week and is fully compliant with the ISPS Code Regulations.

In addition, the Port can provide specialised services in partnership with an approved security company.
