Caerhays Castle and Gardens
Located between Fowey and Falmouth. It is important for the visitor to remember, this is a private home the family, however welcome cruise passengers to the Gardens and the Castle. There are many collections on display and displays alter year by year but include Victorian Jugs, the crockery used for running the house (19th Century Houses were very labour intensive), the Bric-a-Brac of an Edwardian Billiard Room and much more.

Cotehele House
At the heart of this riverside estate sits the granite and slatestone house of Cotehele, built mainly between 1485 and 1627 and a home of the Edgcumbe family for centuries. Intimate chambers feature large Tudor fireplaces and rich hangings. Outside, the formal gardens overlook the richly planted valley garden below, with medieval dovecote, stewpond and Victorian summer house, and 18th-century tower above. More information.

Eden Project
The Eden Project communicates its story in a ‘Living Theatre of Plants and People’ based in a large crater in which nestle two vast greenhouses (Biomes). These house plants, crops and landscapes from the humid tropics and warm temperate regions and act as a backdrop to the temperate landscape, which we call the Outdoor Biome.

The Garden House

Mount Edgcumbe House & Country Park
Former home of the Earls of Mount Edgcumbe. Mount Edgcumbe House and Country Park is many things to many people. The House operates as a museum, and conference facility and a wedding venue, whilst the formal gardens are a horticulturist’s paradise. The 865 acres of landscape is a ramblers dream and the coastline attracts an abundance of wildlife.

Saltram House
Saltram is a remarkable survival of a George II mansion, complete with its original contents and magnificently decorated.The superb 18th-century gardens contain an orangery, the Chapel Art Gallery and several follies, as well as beautiful shrubberies and imposing specimen trees. Trengwainton
A sheltered garden with an abundance of exotic trees and shrubs - enormous tree ferns create a 'Jurassic' feel. Intimate and closely linked to the picturesque stream running through its valley, the garden leads up to a terrace and summer houses with splendid views across Mount's Bay to The Lizard.
