Land's end

Land’s End

An area of pilgrimage for many centuries, this most westerly point in mainland Britain, is a must for visitors who wish to renew their spirits. Travelling through the Land’s End area itself is a wonderful experience of changing moor land landscape and magnificent views. Land’s End was known to the Roman Tin Traders  as Belerion or "Seat of Storms" and was known as Pen Von Las to the ancient Cornish meaning "End of the Earth".

The Lizzard

The Lizard

The Lizard Peninsula, the most southerly point in the United Kingdom, is unique. Stunningly beautiful at any time of the year and a continuing source of inspiration for artists and writers, there is nowhere quite like it anywhere else in Britain. Small cottages, thatched and whitewashed, cluster around tiny harbours.
