New Fowey Harbour Master ...

The Chief Executive and Harbour Master, Captain Mike Sutherland, MBE., is retiring on 30th June after 25 years in the post making him the 2nd longest serving Harbour Master.

The Board have appointed Captain Tim Jones to succeed in the post.

Tim is 54 years of age and is a Master Mariner; his career covers a wide range of experience. He started his sea going career with Texaco Tankships also serving with Jardines and the Sail Training Association. He has served as Harbour Master at Dundee and as Operations Manager and Dock Master Associated British Ports at Millbay Docks Plymouth.
