The harbour dries completely at LWS and is half dry at LWN.

Approach to the harbour is on a transit of 284 degrees formed by a rear FG and an Oc.WR on north arm (Victoria Pier) of the Cobb. There is a S Cardinal mark ¼ M E of harbour entrance marking a submerged outfall. Although N of the transit, it provides a good starting point for entrance to the harbour.

Harbour facilities are limited but fresh water is available on the Cobb and shower facilities are provided by Lyme Regis Sailing Club – key available from HM office.
Fuel is not available at the harbour – nearest garage 1 ½ miles away.
